Northport Systems reports strong sales

Software manufacturer Northport Systems said it has experienced significant growth in the last two years.

The company said sales for the first half of this year are up 19 percent from the first half of last year and up 62 percent from the same period in 2009.

The privately held company did not release specific sales information.

“At Northport we have always maintained that the best products are delivered by working closely with our customers and industry partners alike,” company president Robin Martel said in a statement. “Our exciting sales growth is the result of this principle, as well as our staff’s hard work and dedication to the customer.”

Northport offers GPS-related software products for marine, land, commercial and military applications and a line of digital maps and charts.
