Northstar, a designer and manufacturer of marine navigation systems, announced a $250 dealer installation credit combined with a $500 consumer rebate on its Northstar 8000i.

The offer is available on purchases between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2009.

The 8000i is a one-stop solution for navigation and entertainment, complete with chart plotter, depth sounder, video and network camera monitor, DVD/CD player, music jukebox, instrument repeater and a fuel-engine management system.

The promotion is for authorized Northstar dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
