Northwest Sportshow opens in Minnesota

The Progressive Insurance Northwest Sportshow kicks off today and closes out show season this weekend at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The show opens today and runs through Sunday, featuring everything from the newest camping, hunting and fishing gear to new boats and travel booths.

It will also host activities to attract outdoors enthusiasts of all ages, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the show’s owner and organizer.

Northwest Sportshow features this year include the new Live Shark Encounter — in Minnesota for the first time — Trout Pond, Wild Turkey Room, and dozens of educational seminars from the top fishing experts in the country.
