Offshore Financial adds Mid-Atlantic specialist

Offshore Financial named Kim Madigan to head its Mid-Atlantic region boat loan team in Annapolis, Md., as a marine finance specialist.

The marine service company, which specializes in boat loans, said Madigan has been originating yacht loans in Annapolis for Bank of America and its affiliates since 1985. She specializes in high-end yacht finance, with an emphasis on entrepreneurs.

The company said Madigan brings 25 years of management experience and business leadership to her new position. In addition to her tenure at Bank of America, she is recognized for her service as a member of the board of the Marine Trades Association of Maryland.

“Kim is a great cultural match for us. Customer service is the key to our success at Offshore, and 89 percent of Kim’s boat loan clients are repeat, returning customers who continue to seek her out,” Offshore Financial co-owner Bernadette Horvath said in a statement.
