Media Direction, a 30-year-old marine industry advertising and public relations company, launched Classic Custom Boats, a bimonthly online magazine.
"It just seemed like a natural progression since the vintage performance boat market has exploded with interest and activity over the past few years," said Bob Brown, president of Media Direction, in a statement. "This is the only e-magazine that is exclusively devoted to classic V-drives, jets and outboards of the '50s, '60s, '70s, and '80s."
The magazine will feature classic boats as well as how-to tips for restoration, interviews, technical articles and select racing coverage, as well as a section for readers to submit photos of their own vessels.
The first issue can be viewed here. The site also includes a free forum for boating discussions, an events calendar and a reader gallery where photos and video submissions can be posted and shared.
