LED manufacturer Orca Green Marine appointed Ocean Marketing to represent the company’s current and upcoming product ranges along the East Coast.

Established in 2002, Orca Green Marine had the first Coast Guard-approved LED navigation light in 2004. The LXTA Series Tricolor/Anchor combination was followed with anchor, port, starboard, stern, towing and all-around red lights.

Early and continuing customers include several military branches, including the Navy SEALs, pilot boats and a variety of sailboat and powerboat builders, including Hinckley, Passport Yachts, United States Marine Inc. and Silver Ships Inc.

Based in Guilford, Conn., the Ocean Marketing team has a network of sales representatives servicing the OEM and aftermarket channels and technical representatives to support the retail channels through technical help lines.

“We are delighted to partner with Ocean Marketing as the extension of our sales team for the East Coast,” Orca Green Marine CEO Meghan Matthews said in a statement. “In the coming months we’ll be introducing a series of new products in both the LED and the solar/wind/piezo lines, and Ocean’s breadth and depth of market knowledge will be invaluable throughout this process.”
