Long-range motoryacht builder Outer Reef yesterday announced it is expanding its sales footprint by opening a Latin American division that will cover Central America and South America.

“The new Latin American division of Outer Reef broadens the scope of opportunities we have to expand upon design and function, utilizing the feedback and unique requirements provided by this important market segment,” Outer Reef president and CEO Jeff Druek said in a statement.

Adriana Mercado, who is based in Miami, will serve as Outer Reef’s Latin American director of sales.

Additionally, the company launched a Latin American-specific website with a virtual showroom for Spanish-speaking customers that provides model updates, information about the Outer Reef brand and the company’s service offerings. There are plans to add a community forum.
