Pelican Products CFO receives award

Don Jordan, Pelican Products' chief financial officer, was named CFO of the year in the large-private-company category in the fourth annual CFO of the Year awards presented by the Los Angeles Business Journal, the company announced.

The award honors Los Angeles-area CFOs for corporate leadership and for their contributions to the area's financial community.

This comes on the heels of Pelican Products being named to the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in America for the third year in a row.

"Don continues to effectively map out the fiscal route for the expansion of Pelican and has been instrumental in our global growth," company president and CEO Lyndon Faulkner said in a statement. "He has demonstrated his dedication to the success of Pelican and is truly deserving of this award."

Jordan has been with the company since 2005 and has been CFO since 2007.
