Perko gets ISO certification

Perko, the Miami-based marine hardware manufacturer, recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification.

"This is an important achievement for Perko," president Fred Perkins said in a statement. "By attaining the latest ISO 9001:2008 certification, we're being recognized for our ongoing commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and innovation."

Maintained by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001:2008 certification specifies requirements for quality management, covering all key business processes.

It is awarded to organizations that can demonstrate consistent products and services that meet customer expectations and plan continual improvements.
