Pettit Marine Paint Announces New Hires

Pettit Marine Paint yesterday announced it has hired two new marine business coatings consultants.

Greg Ashley comes aboard as a senior marine business coatings consultant, the company said in a statement. Ashley assumes sales and technical responsibilities for the Southern Gulf region previously held by Mike Kent, who will retire July 15.

Pettit also welcomes Joe Lavelle, who is the new marine business coatings consultant with sales and technical responsibilities for the Mid-Atlantic region, the company said in a separate statement.

Ashley arrives after serving as a national account manager at 3M. Lavelle joins Pettit from West Marine, where he was a general manager.
