Priority One Financial Services, Inc., has been named as a “One Tampa Bay Honoree” by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The awards highlight Tampa Bay’s non-profit organizations as well as local companies that work to integrate corporate social responsibility into their cultures.

Priority One said in a statement that 36 organizations attended the awards luncheon. Ten of its employees attended. The finance provider said the company was honored for its annual volunteering program called “Give Thanks.”

“Every November Priority One employees get paid time off to volunteer with various local charities,” said the statement. This year’s volunteer efforts included Metropolitan Ministries, Bakas Equestrian Center: Horses for the Handicapped, Suncoast Hospice/Empath Health, Tampa Bay Watch and Ronald McDonald House.
