Lexington, S.C.-based Bentley Pontoons partnered with a local pharmacy to offer on-site Covid-19 vaccinations to its employees.

Vice president of sales and marketing Joe Antonneau told Trade Only Today that plant manager Dave Hagen arranged for a team from My Pharmacy and Optical to administer the inoculations.

“We wanted to take a leadership role in keeping our employees safe and healthy,” Hagen said. “We’ve had an excellent turnout today, and the team at My Pharmacy and Optical of Lexington were wonderful to work with.”

Furniture department production lead Christian Alugo, who has family members that contracted Covid-19, was among those who were vaccinated.

“After seeing the effects of Covid-19 on my family, I decided it was in my best interest to protect not only myself, but my wife as well as my 2-year old son,” Alugo said. “I’m really thankful that Bentley has offered this to us.”
