Propspeed Hires VP of Sales

Coatings manufacturer Propspeed named Chris Myers vice president of sales for the Americas.

In addition to directing Propspeed’s sales efforts, Myers will grow and support its partner boatyards, marinas, applicators and distributors.

“This team is driven by a passion for above-and-beyond customer service, protecting the environment, leading the industry into the future by example, and maintaining a commitment to product excellence that is rare in the industry,” Myers said in a statement. “I am looking forward to helping drive the company forward, as well as working with our existing partners and developing new relationships for the brand.”

Myers has predominantly held positions in marine sales and finance, with stints at such companies as Seakeeper, Galati Yachts, Lumishore and MarineMax. He is based in Miami.
