Qatar show wraps up with big crowds

The 2014 Qatar International Boat Show, which ran from Tuesday through Saturday, attracted more than 12,000 visitors and was booked to capacity for exhibitors despite doubling its space from last year.

There were more than 90 exhibitors and 75 boats on display, organizers told the Gulf Times.

The new upgraded exhibition area had shows on land and in the water with about 107,639 square feet of water basin surface and more than 161,460 square feet of pavilions and outdoor areas.
