The U.K. builder Fairline Yachts launched an online boat configurator for its F//Line 33. Users can choose, for example, interior and exterior colors and engines, and retail pricing is included with each addition. “It’s important that our digital portfolio meets the needs and demands of the online shopper,” Fairline head of marketing Miles Moorhouse said in a statement. “In the last six months, we’ve obviously seen a sharp increase in online customer interactions — even selling new boats from our online video tours. The fun, stylish and modern F//Line is a natural fit in the digital space, and as our product offer expands, so will our configurator.”

The Marine Industries Association of South Florida is supporting a blood drive on Friday organized by Yacht-Mate Products president and founder Sandy Hoekstra-Handrahan. The effort — to be held at MIASF’s headquarters in Fort Lauderdale — is being held to help meet the sharp spike in demand by area hospitals treating Covid-19 patients. “I wanted to find a way to help those impacted by this devastating pandemic,” said Hoekstra-Handrahan in a statement. Time slots can be reserved here. In addition, they organization will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center Bare Necessities patient pantry.
