Twin Disc reported second-quarter sales of $48.4 million, an 18.6 percent decline compared with $59.5 million for the same period a year prior, attributed primarily to softness in its oil and gas, industrial and marine segments, as well as the continued impact of the pandemic. “We remain focused on emerging from this challenging period as a stronger, leaner and more diverse company,” CEO John H. Batten said in a statement. “In addition, we have seen an acceleration in hybrid/electric inquiries for both marine and industrial applications, and are encouraged by the progress we are making in this important, developing market space.”


NMMA Confirms Industry Growth
