Victory Marine of Miami was named the exclusive Robalo and Chaparral dealer in Costa Rica. “It was impossible not to be affected by the global [Covid-19] tragedy unfolding before us daily,” Orlando Hernandez, of Victory Marine Holdings, said in a statement. “Yet with dedicated focus and determination, we are now positioned to take full advantage of the coming economic resurgence.” Hernandez told Trade Only Today that distribution is largely expected to be along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.

Level 5 Advertising created a customizable virtual boat show platform that debuted in the Cincinnati and Minneapolis markets. The goal was to “connect potential buyers to the boat they are looking for and the dealer that sells it,” the company said in a statement. And with many winter and spring shows canceled, dealers saw engaged buyers. “The Twin Cities Boat Show platform has helped us get off to the best start to a year in our company’s history,” said John Wooden of River Valley Marine in Red Wing, Minn. Level 5 plans to expand its digital events in new markets.
