CDI Electronics was awarded utility patent protection for its two-wire RGB(W) controller design. The controller allows LED sources to be distributed through the two-wire setup, reducing wire runs for builders and installers. “Our RGB(W) controller design has been accepted by both pontoon and fiberglass builders because of its simplicity, low cost and ease of installation,” sales and marketing manager Frank Ahlbin said in a statement. “Further, the builder can select any brand of LED lighting to use with our controller, instead of being tied to a light supplier’s controller.”
