Following CEO Scott Wine’s departure at the end of 2020, Polaris announced that executive vice president and CFO Mike Speetzen will serve as interim CEO. John Wiehoff, the company’s lead independent director, was appointed chairman of the board, and Bob Mack, who served as senior vice president of corporate development and strategy and president of global adjacent markets and boats, was named interim CFO. “We appreciate Mike and Bob taking on these expanded roles while we progress our CEO search,” Wiehoff said in a statement.

OneWater Marine said it finalized its acquisition of Walker Marine Group. Walker’s five locations in southwest Florida further increase OneWater’s presence in the Sunshine State; last month, it added the Tom George Yacht Group’s two locations. “We continue to aggressively pursue market-leading dealerships to fold into the OneWater family, which is exemplified by the addition of Walker Marine Group,” OneWater CEO Austin Singleton said in a statement. The acquisition “reinforces our commitment to doubling down on strategic growth and maximizing value for our stockholders.”

Lippert Components made its fifth acquisition in the marine space since 2015 with the addition of Veada Industries, a New Paris, Ind.-based manufacturer of seating and accessories. “The addition of Veada’s unique and diverse product line will allow us to provide exceptional, customized product offerings to our OEM marine customers and further grow our marine business,” LCI president and CEO Jason Lippert said in a statement.
