SkipperBud’s Brett Mumy was named Tiara Yachts top salesman and Jose Rodriguez of Boat Management was the No. 1 Tiara Sport salesperson for 2020. SkipperBud’s also took the top spot for Tiara Yachts retail sales; Quality Boats of Clearwater is Tiara Sport’s top dealer. In addition, the Holland, Mich.-based builder named leaders in international sales, as well as market share and CSI achievement. “Tiara is very proud to recognize our dealer partners and top salespersons that contributed to our market growth and retail success for the 2020 Model Year,” said Tiara sales and marketing vice president Dave O’Connell in a statement. Smoker Craft Inc. made “a significant donation” to the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas in support of Dealer Week, an event that is typically a large source of revenue for the association, but has moved onto a virtual platform in light of the pandemic. The executive team wanted more of their dealers to have access to the program, so Smoker Craft and MRAA are offering dealers for Smoker Craft, Startcraft and Sylvan an opportunity to double registrations for Dealer Week at no extra charge. “Dealer Week is an ideal setting for dealers to exchange ideas and learn from its fantastic educational seminars,” said Smoker Craft president Doug Smoker in a statement. “The stronger our dealers become, the more beneficial it is for everybody.”
