Captains For Clean Water, the Florida-based advocacy group founded to address the mismanagement that has led to the state’s water crisis, have added two new members to the team. Capt. Mike Holliday is the nonprofit’s new program and outreach director. Based in Stuart, the fishing guide and outdoor scribe — who’s previously worked in marketing for outdoor brands — will lead efforts to grow CFCW’s presence in the outdoor space. Jessica Pinsky has been named director of public affairs and policy. A seventh generation Floridian, her deep roots in the Sunshine State led her to advocacy work with the Florida Economic Council as its founding executive director. “Our incredible supporters enabled us to add Jessica and Mike to our team of passionate conservationists and their invaluable skills and experience will help advance our vision of clean water and healthy estuaries for future generations,” said CFCW executive director Capt. Daniel Andrews in a statement
