Lowe Boats honored five dealerships with sales awards at its virtual dealer meeting: The Boat Place, Rockville, Ind., No. 1 dealer; Mountainland Auto Sales, Heber City, Utah, fastest-growing dealer; CenterPoint Yacht Sales, Pewaukee, Wis., rookie of the year; Beacon Marine, Junction City, Kan., best customer service. The Sports Center in Perry, Ga., was named premier dealer. “We want to thank all of our dealers for their hard work and attention to our customer’s needs through this time of unprecedented demand,” Lowe general manager Greg Falkner said in a statement.

CZone announced that its digital switching systems now integrate with Siren Marine remote connectivity through a new Works with CZone program. “The Works with CZone integration program aims to reduce complexity for the end user, and by integrating with Siren Marine, it enables consumers to control and monitor their vessel from anywhere using their mobile device,” CZone senior product manager Mark Harnett said in a statement.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill that bans the importation of shark fins into his state and closes loopholes that enabled the illegal trade. The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation and the non-profit Shark Allies called the bill a “monumental” victory, and said they will push for similar legislation nationwide. “Prohibiting the importation of shark fins into Florida is a tremendous first step in protecting global shark populations,” Guy Harvey said in a statement.
