RBFF president receives award

Frank Peterson, president and CEO of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, received the National Association of State Boating law Administrations Award at the association's 50th annual meeting in Corpus Christi, Texas, held Sept. 26-30.

First awarded in 1969, the NASBLA award is the oldest given by the non-profit organization. It is given to a person who has contributed to the organization and to boating safety in general.

Peterson became president of RBFF in February 2007 and has strived to make boating safety a fully integrated part of the organization's outreach message, according to NASBLA.
