The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation received three awards in the 2011 American Society of Association Executives' Gold Circle Award competition.

RBFF was honored for its 2010 stakeholder annual report, NewsWaves stakeholder e-newsletter and TakeMeFishing.org. Additionally, Heather Sieber, RBFF vice president of communications, conservation and stakeholder engagement, recently earned the association’s Certified Association Executive credential.

“We're delighted to be recognized by ASAE for the third year in a row as a top-tier association communication program,” RBFF president and CEO Frank Peterson said in a statement. “We're also extremely proud and congratulate Heather for earning her CAE, the highest professional credential in the association industry.”

The annual Gold Circle Award competition honors associations and non-profit groups that demonstrate excellence in communication across 11 categories, including magazines, newsletters, websites, blogs, podcasts, media relations campaigns and innovative communications.
