Registration is open for the 2015 American Boating Congress, a recreational boating event that will be held May 11-13 on Capitol Hill and is designed to favorably affect public policy for the boating industry.

The ABC is an opportunity for boating advocates to meet elected officials to discuss policy concerns, speak directly with policy-makers, learn more about the congressional process and hear from elected officials.

This year’s ABC logo is new and the industry is staying at a new location, the Renaissance Washington hotel, to accommodate the growing event. A new welcome reception will be held May 11 at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.

A Boat Political Action Committee reception will take place on the roof of 20 F St. in Washington, D.C.

The event also will feature new issue briefing sessions, offering multiple course tracks for attendees.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association will update its website as planning for the event continues.
