Registration opens for sailing conference

Sail America announced that registration is open for the 2012 Sailing Industry Conference, which will be held June 25-27 at the Newport Harbor Hotel in Rhode Island.

“Our 2012 Sailing Industry Conference has a fantastic lineup of speakers, captivating presentations and invaluable workshops that will exceed registered attendees’ expectations,” Sail America executive director Jonathan Banks said. “The preliminary buzz is very strong. We encourage people to register early so they don't miss the opportunity to participate in this fantastic conference.”

With its theme, “From Survive — to Thrive,” the conference will include a range of topics designed to provide new information and stimulate new thinking in the sailing industry.

Sail America members and organizations that register more than four people will receive a discount of more than 20 percent. Conference registration begins at $325 and includes a day and a half of seminars, a welcome reception on June 25, two lunches and transportation to offsite events.
