Reichhold names Nordic region distributor

Reichhold appointed the Azelis Group (trading as Broste) as its exclusive distributor for the Nordic region (Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark).

Reichhold will maintain its own commercial and technical structure to serve users of Reichhold products either directly or through the Broste distribution channel.

The new distribution agreement is expected to be finalized and come into force in the last quarter of 2008, once transitional matters have been addressed.

The Azelis Group comprises 36 companies, operates in 26 European countries and has offices in Shanghai, China; Mumbai, India; and Moscow.

Reichhold, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, N.C., manufactures unsaturated polyester resins and is a leading supplier of coating resins for the industrial, transportation, building and construction, marine, consumer and graphic arts markets.
