Ronstan International wins design award

Ronstan's new Core Block Series was selected as a 2011 Red Dot design award winner.

The Red Dot awards committee this year analyzed 4,433 products from 60 countries. Ronstan's Core Block design was chosen as this year's Red Dot winner in the Leisure, Outdoor and Sport category.

Past Red Dot award winners in the category include Adidas, Puma and Neil Pride, the company said.

Australia-based Ronstan International is a maker of winches, hardware and accessories for sailing. It has offices in Australia, Denmark, the United States and the United Kingdom.
