Safe Harbor Acquires Rybovich

rybovich

Safe Harbor Marinas said in a statement that it acquired Rybovich, which caters to the superyacht industry with two marina and service center locations in Palm Beach County, Fla. Financial details weren’t disclosed.

It’s the latest in a string of acquisitions by Dallas-based Safe Harbor, which includes more than 100 locations.

“Not only are our people continuing at Rybovich, but we will have access to more resources and a larger, growing network,” Rybovich vice president Carlos Vidueira said in a statement. Vidueira will oversee Safe Harbor’s superyacht marinas.

Safe Harbor purchased the company from Wayne Huizenga Jr. “We're extremely excited about what this means for our people, our customers and our partners,” Huizenga said in the statement.

“Our plan is to serve Rybovich with excellence so they, in turn, can do what they do so well at more locations throughout the country and perhaps the world,” said Baxter Underwood, CEO of Safe Harbor.
