Sail America published a preliminary brochure detailing plans for its industry conference June 22-24 at the Hyatt Regency Newport in Newport, R.I.
The preliminary brochure includes information about the conference's more than 15 educational sessions, special events such as the Sailing Industry Dinner and Raffle, Sail America's Regatta and general information about the event.
For 2015, Sail America has compiled a list of speakers focusing on marketing, business and sailing that include Jeanne Hopkins, of Continuum Managed IT Services; Matt Sellhorst, of Boat Dealer Profits; Michelle Girasole, of Fresh LLC; and Sally Helme, of Bonnier Corp.
Other presenters include Mark Davis, of Sailors for the Sea; Chris Sheehy, of Sidewalk Branding Co.; Chuck Murphy, of Boston Interactive; and David Bohonnon, of Bohonnon Law, accompanied by Vin Petrella, of the YBAA; Eric Braitmayer, of IMTRA; Russ Graham, of Rushton Gregory Communications; and Mari Anne Snow, of Sophia Think.
Jack Gierhart, of US Sailing, will lead a Grow Sailing discussion. Also joining the group will be Stanton Murray, of Murray Yacht Sales; and Charlie Zechel and Nate Fristoe of RRC Associates.
Session topics include marketing to customers' lifecycle, engaging new sailing audiences and industry growth, and marketing solutions from lessons that have been learned through the ski industry.
"The preliminary brochure provides registered and potential attendees a way to gather a sneak peek into what our conference is all about," Sail America association manager Peter Durant said in a statement.
