Sail America seeks seminar proposals for 2014 conference

Sail America has posted a "Call for Presentations" at its website for the fourth biannual Sail America Industry Conference.

The conference is scheduled for June 9-11, 2014, at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina in Charleston, S.C.

Presentations should be designed for intermediate to advanced levels of experience without overt company or product promotions. Proposed topics should focus on personal and professional growth, as well as ways to improve business for sailing professionals.

"Reaching out to the sailing industry for session proposals helps us pinpoint the most current, quality topics," Sail America association manager Peter Durant said in a statement. "It is important that seminars are timely and relevant to our audience."

The deadline for submitting presentations is Dec. 6.
