Sail magazine announced its Best Boat Awards for 2010.

Nine categories had winners this year, including performance boat, dinghy, systems and the new "green" award.

"Every year, builders raise the bar in terms of build quality and attention to detail," judge Peter Nielsen said in a statement. "This makes for some spirited debate among the judges and it also means better deals for new boat buyers."
