Sail magazine names best-boat nominees

Sail magazine announced its 2010 Best Boats nominees in the September issue and on its Web site.

These annual awards recognize innovation and excellence in sailboat design and construction for new models being introduced into the U.S. market.

The program kicked off Sept. 17-20 at the Newport (R.I.) International Boat Show and the team, led by Sail editor in chief Peter Nielsen, will continue with its selection Oct. 8-12 at the U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis, Md.
