Scandvik named distributor for Planus

Scandvik announced that it will be the exclusive distributor of Planus Electric Head Systems for the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

Planus is headed by Marco Giovannini, who designed the first vortex system for marine use in the early 1990s, according to a release from Scandvik. The company strives to address many of the issues with electric head systems, including noise and clogging, as well as simplifying operation with a one- or two-button control panel.

Based in Vero Beach, Fla., Scandvik is a distributor/manufacturer of marine hardware and a variety of other products.
