SCMA offers 'virtual boat show' classifieds

The Southern California Marine Association is offering its members a free classified listing section on SCMA Web sites for boats (new and used), as well as engines, trailers and parts/accessories.

"Because SCMA Web sites attract such a high volume of boater traffic year-round, we believe that this new feature has the potential of significantly benefiting members during this difficult economic period," said Dave Geoffroy, executive director, in a statement.

"In essence, it's a virtual boat show 24/7," he added.

Listings on the site are restricted to current SCMA member companies. Members may also place ad banners on the site for a nominal cost.
