Sea Tow app wins Web award

Sea Tow Services International won the Favourite Website Awards' "Mobile of the Day" for its recently launched Sea Tow App for iPhone and Android, which was developed by Jester Communications.

The Sea Tow App will be featured today on the Favourite Website Awards’ website.

Founded in 2000, Favourite Website Awards is an Internet award program and portal that receives thousands of nominations each month from a broad global audience, including Web enthusiasts, Web and graphic designers, Web news editors, students, educational institutes and teachers.

“When we set out to build the Sea Tow App we envisioned a cutting-edge mobile application that would not only incorporate many of the tools that boaters need, but would also raise the bar for marine mobile applications,” chief administrative officer Kristen Frohnhoefer said in a statement. “Winning the FWA Mobile of the Day award is an indicator that we have achieved that goal. As a forward-thinking company, Jester Communications was able to understand our vision and bring it to reality.”

The Sea Tow App is available for free download in the United States and its territories by iPhone and Android smart-phone users, regardless of whether they are Sea Tow members.
