SeaArk delivers patrol boat to New Orleans
The Captain Kenneth H. Scarbrough, a 50-foot Dauntless Class patrol vessel, was recently delivered by SeaArk Marine to the port of New Orleans.
The vessel will be used by the harbor police for a variety of port security, maritime response and emergency rescue missions throughout the Port of New Orleans waterway systems. The vessel will also support the Coast Guard in its safety/security mission on the lower Mississippi River.
The vessel has an aluminum hull designed by C. Raymond Hunt & Associates and was designed as a command and control vessel. It includes a nav/command center in the lower cabin where Teledyne specialty electronics equipment is housed.
Additional outfitting includes a KVH satellite phone, KVH satellite TV system, ICOM 602 VHF, CCTV system, Simrad VTS/AIS, Garmin Electronics and twin cat C-18 engines with twin-disc AQM-17 gears.
