Several boats burned in marina fire

About 10 boats were destroyed after a fire broke out at a Seattle marina, according to a local TV network.


Several boats burned as a fire tore through Harbor Island Marina on Friday night, according to KATU 2.

"There was explosions," witness Mike Drake told the network. "Once it went, it was pretty much a monster on its own. It was unbelievable."

Several firefighters spent hours dousing the fire; 10 vessels including one houseboat were destroyed, according to the station.
