Shakespeare Marine, a Columbia, S.C.-based antenna designer and manufacturer, has announced an industry-wide price freeze across Europe for 2021 in response to a turbulent year for many industries.

The global pandemic has disrupted the entire world and global boating sector; paired with lockdowns, a concern for health and wellbeing, and the unknown future, Shakespeare Marine is pledging industry support by freezing all prices for the coming calendar year.

The decision seeks to support an industry rebound and help kickstart the economy again.

We know it’s been a difficult year for everyone, and we want to support our amazing sector and help to grow the market again,” said Shakespeare Marine European sales manager Dave Manasseh in a statement. “The price freeze represents our commitment to our valued distributors and customers, and to the industry as we all start to rebuild. Here’s hoping we can all pull together and create a successful 2021.”

The price freeze comes into place with immediate effect and will be applied to all marine products and accessories, including the award-winning Galaxy INFL8 antenna.

The company also announced a new UK distributor, Meridian Zero Distribution Ltd.

Tony Evans, Managing Director of Meridian Zero Distribution Ltd, comments,

“This is a great day for us,” said Meridian Zero Distribution managing director Tony Evans, in a separate statement. “We have always aimed to represent Tier One brands, and the V-Tronix & Shakespeare brands are definitely that. We are already getting stock in and we look forward to a successful partnership.”
