Si-Tex, Jeppesen join on chart plotter promotion

Si-Tex Marine Electronics and Jeppesen teamed up to provide North American boaters with comprehensive C-MAP by Jeppesen electronic chart coverage at no charge when they purchase any new Si-Tex EC Series chart plotter.

During the promotion, which runs through Dec. 31, each Si-Tex EC-5, EC-7 and EC-11 chart plotter will come with a special C-MAP "MAX Lite" chart card packaged in the box.

The included compact SD card provides coverage for all of North America, including Alaska, Hawaii, the Great Lakes and Canada. For long-distance cruisers, the chart card also covers the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Central America.

"When you consider the already affordable pricing on these navigation systems, this limited-time promotion is a strong incentive for boaters across the U.S. and Canada," Si-Tex vice president of sales Allen Schneider said in a statement. "And the promotion itself couldn't be easier. There are no extra purchases to make or rebate forms to fill out.
