Siren Marine said it reached an agreement with management system developer DealersCircle. Siren’s MTC (monitor/track/control) connected boat system will be available through the DealersCircle platform, and boatbuilders and dealers will have greater access to Siren’s Internet of Things technology, which was developed to connect a boat owner to his vessel, the dealer and the manufacturer.

“This is an important building block in the continuing growth of the connected boat,” Daniel Harper, Siren Marine CEO and founder, said in a statement. “Over the past year, we’ve seen a growing groundswell of OEM interest from boatbuilders, engine and transmission manufacturers, NMEA device manufacturers, and many others.”

DealersCircle was launched in 2003 as a management system for boatbuilders. Using the company’s web-based applications, builders can communicate with dealers and customers. Builders that use DealersCircle include EdgeWater, Everglades, Chris-Craft, Fountain, Donzi, Cobalt, Key West and Regulator.

“We are looking forward to bringing our Supplier Marketplace online later this year and are proud to have a forward-thinking, leading technology provider like Siren Marine as our inaugural supplier,” Scott Davis, DealersCircle president, said in the statement.
