Skeeter to to play Santa in Texas

Skeeter Products Inc. will spread Christmas cheer to children around East Texas through its Boat Load of Toys program.

The Kilgore, Texas-based company will distribute more than 550 toys donated during the Skeeter Owner’s Tournament held on Lake Fork.

“Our Boat Load of Toys program was initiated by Skeeter, but our owners are responsible for its success,” said Daren Cole, Skeeter’s marketing manager, in a statement. “Each year, we ask those participating in our Owner’s Tournament to bring a new toy, and our owners always step up and show their support for a great cause.”

The toys will be distributed through non-profit organizations in Gregg, Wood and Smith counties in East Texas, including Christmas Sharing, Mineola Caring & Sharing, the Presbyterian Children’s Home and Services, and Hope Haven Home for Women and Children.
