SmartPlug wins design award

SmartPlug won the 2010 Good Design award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd.

The award, now in its 60th year, is given to the most cutting-edge commercial, product and graphic designs produced around the globe, the company said in a statement.

"We're very proud of our product and excited it has been recognized for its value and innovation," SmartPlug CEO Ken Smith said in a statement. "This award helps us bring our mission of ensuring safer power delivery systems to the world."
