SNAME prepares for annual meeting

The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers is offering on-site registration and free expo-only attendance information for its annual meeting, scheduled for Oct. 21-23 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, R.I.

Visitors have the option of attending only the expo at the convention center and admission to this event is free.

On-site registration hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday; and 9 a.m. to noon Friday.

Panel sessions include Electric Ships: the Shipbuilder's Perspective; Ocean Energy: Wind, Waves, Currents; Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles in and on the Ocean; Climate Change and Marine Air Emissions: Where Are We? Where Are We Going?
