Sounding's Master's Series wins APEX award

Soundings magazine’s award-winning Master’s Series has again been recognized for publication excellence.

“Seamanship & Safety,” the third and latest installment in the series, won an APEX Award of Excellence for One-of-a-Kind: Web & Electronic Publications. The digital digest was one of three winners in that category, selected from nearly 4,500 entries overall in 11 categories and 110 subcategories.

The 81-page “Seamanship & Safety” contains more than 20 stories that cover a broad range of topics, from first aid and weather to navigation rules and man-overboard procedures. The team of writers and editors assembled to produce the publication have varied boating backgrounds, including sailors and powerboaters, coastal and offshore cruisers, anglers and racers.
