Sparkman & Stephens said today that it named Riley Yuhas as its marketing director.

The company said Yuhas has a diverse background in marketing and communications, a passion for boating and experience in marine marketing for some of the industry's premier heritage brands.

Yuhas has a bachelor’s degree in visual communication from Ohio University. After college she worked in the editorial field as a designer and creative director for a series of publications in Nashville, Tenn., and Columbus, Ohio, before moving to Newport, R.I., to work in marine marketing.

Yuhas most recently was marketing manager at The Hinckley Company. Sparkman & Stephens said she worked alongside the marketing director at Hinckley through the company's best sales performance in 2014 and the acquisitions of Hunt Yachts and Morris Yachts in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
