Sportfishing show will broadcast in HD

Bonnier's long-running sportfishing television show is upgrading for its eighth season and bringing in more experts from the company's editorial pool while broadcasting in high definition for the first time.

Airing every Saturday on the Versus network, this year editors from Bonnier's four fishing magazines - Sport Fishing, Marlin, Salt Water Sportsman and Fly Fishing in Salt Waters - will bring their expertise to "Sport Fishing Television."

In addition to new editors this year, the pictures will be even more stunning as the show films in high definition.

"Making the jump from standard definition to high definition not only achieves a higher picture quality, but also reflects our goal to create higher-quality programming with the ability to repurpose and sell high-quality footage in the future," said Eric Livengood, director of post-production for Bonnier Productions, in a statement.
