Stabicraft opening U.S. headquarters

New Zealand-based Stabicraft Marine, a manufacturer of aluminum boats, is opening a new 10,900-square-foot facility in Mount Vernon, Wash.

The Stabicraft U.S. headquarters includes 800 square feet of office space for dealer sales, customer service and administration; a 2,100-square-foot warehouse and receiving area housing final assembly and pre-dealer delivery inspections; and 8,000 square feet of yard space where boats are displayed for dealers and available for customer and media sea trials.

"Our new facility is strategically located on Interstate 5, about halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, to serve and expand into the U.S. and Canadian markets," said Paul Adams, managing director at Stabicraft Marine, in a statement. "We also have quick and easy access to water for sea trials only 20 miles away."

Founded Founded in 1987, Stabicraft Marine manufactures center consoles, sportboats, runabouts, cruisers and sportfishing boats designed for superior handling, stability and safety in the toughest weather conditions.
