Sterndrive Engineering offers lower units for V6 outboards

Sterndrive Engineering is offering new replacement lower units for the big three OEM V6 outboards.

“Our customers have been asking for them for quite sometime, so we felt there would be enough demand to warrant the large investment required to manufacture and test the new products,” said company president Greg Pickren, in a statement.

The units come with a three-year, fault-free warranty.

The Oldsmar, Fla.-based company has also created a new name and logo — SEI — based on the abbreviated Sterndrive Engineering Inc., along with a new Web site.
