Suntex Marina Investors added another California property to its portfolio — Oak Bottom Marina.

Located on Whiskeytown Lake in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, Oak Bottom Marina has 94 walk-in tent sites, 22 RV/trailer sites, restrooms, a store and a boat ramp. It also rents fishing boats, pontoons, deck cruisers and party barges.

“Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is an unspoiled paradise with incredible natural views and offering unlimited potential for Oak Bottom Marina,” Suntex operations senior vice president Ron TenEyck said in a statement. “We are very excited to add this pristine property to our growing family of marinas, and look forward to investing in the facilities and adding to the overall enjoyment of our future guests.”

Whiskeytown Lake is a reservoir in Shasta County in northwestern California, about eight miles west of Redding.
